01.13.06 | Latin Jazz Performance On January 12, 2006 Hal created a special performance of Latin Jazz, featuring some of the best latin musicians in the Miami area. Borrowing three percussionists from Gloria Estafon, as well as many other new musicians to Hal's pool of artists, along with some of the standard lineup, a wonderful concert was enjoyed by a sell-out crowd.
11.01.05 | A Band Becomes An Orchestra... As of January 1, 2006, the band with the funkiest horn section on the planet found its soul mate when they added the sexyest STRING SECTION to the lineup!!!! Four ladies playing two violins, viola, and cello, have officially made their opening statement and have upgraded the group to a new level of class and capability! Remember the string lines that gave identity to "I Will Survive", "Let's Stay Together", and "Turn The Beat Around"? The Hal Roland ORCHESTRA, one of the few bands that still plays completely LIVE (no kareoke tracks), now brings those string lines to you, not from a thin shrill keyboard, but from rich. full strings. They also add a new level of fun and animation to the already wild show!!!
